Asheron Point. A Tower Defense game I am developing on my own to expand my knowledge base on both hard surface modeling but also refining my knowledge in asset optimization and more importantly Blueprint coding in Unreal 5.4. Since if you can't get someone to do it? Learn to do it yourself!
This game is set up in which the player must defend their mining outpost from the native species of the planet who have taken to attacking the outposts due to the "corporation" establishing their presence on the planet to mine the exotic mineral resources for use off planet. You must defend your outpost. In the event the enemies make it past the armored bunker door, you progress to "phase 2" and set up turrets of varying types to take out these enemies who are bent on entering your outpost to destroy your fusion core generator which runs your entire site.
I wrote an entire GDD as well to document my feature sets, story element/scope and general game-play guidelines. Along with referenced image material to keep the vision and scope consistent across the board.
This will be an open ended portfolio piece, meaning it will likely change overtime with new addition, images, presentation pieces, and even video as I progress with improvements and features.
